I LOVE Yes To and Celavi Korean paper masks!!!
Paper face masks are my new favorite skin care product of the moment! I received a few of the Yes To masks in a gift bag, and it only took one try before I was hooked. Face masks are always a nice way to not only relax, but of course benefit your skins needs, but traditional face masks are messy, you may need a brush to apply them, or they are a pain in the ass to wash off. That’s the beauty of these new Korean paper face masks. They are so convienent! It feels like they were personally made for me, the laziest person in the world.
All you have to do is open the package, unwrap the sheet like mask, which is already pre-soaked and pop it on your face. You’ll even be able to speak and see since this mask has pre-cut cut outs for your mouth and eyes. Again, convienent.
I’m not sure how long you are supposed to leave the paper masks on for, it does have directions on the package, but I play by my own rules. Generally I’ll leave the mask on for about 15 minutes. When you’re done all you have to do is pull it off (which is not painful by the way) and wad it up and throw it in the trash! It’s really that simple and easy.
The Korean paper masks come in a variety of different scents, treatments, and ingredients. My personal favorite is Yes To Tomatoes Detoxifying Charcoal mask. Charcoal is known to be highly effective when it comes to purifying skin and reducing black heads.
Yes To and Celavi Essence are my two favorite paper sheet facial mask brands. Yes To is easier to find in stores, but Celavi is available online and can be purchased in bundle packages to save a few coins. Both brands have charcoal masks, and my second favorite, tea tree masks.
Did you know you could even make your own custom paper sheet masks? You can! Maybe there is a certain homemade concotion you’d like to use. You can buy the sheet paper masks in packages of like 30 or something along those lines and you can soak them in your own mask mixture and use them or soak them and then package them up to use another time. It’s like meal prepping, except it’s part of your beauty regimen.
