Well ladies, it’s that time of year again… Fall! So it’s time to adjust our hair and our faces to match the season! So I am here to present to you my top 5 products for October.

#1 Mario Badescu rose water– I LOVE this spray it hydrates my skin amazingly. It is a very, very close second to mac fix plus spray and as a bonus a hell of a lot cheaper. I generally use the rose water as a toner after I wash my face and before I moisturize, both day and night. I also learned a new little trick recently (I’ll share with you in another post) that utilizes my rose water spray to make my highlight poppin! You can also use this spray to prime your face, set your makeup and as a refresher throughout the day. I believe it is a must have and that is why it is at the top of my list this month.

#2 It is fall and you know what that means! It’s time to darken our hair and our faces! I contour 24 hours a day 365 days a year but I know many of you abandoned contouring for the summer months in exchange for strobing. As summer ends and we enter into fall it’s time to embrace the art of the contour once again. Last year I was super obsessed with the Anastasia Beverly Hills powder contour kit, and this year I have become a big fan of her creme kit. I think it is an absolute must have. The colors are creamy, extremely blend-able and pigmented. It comes in a light or dark palette so you can easily choose colors to match your skin tone and it is fairly priced.

#3 Sadly, but happily it’s time to put away our pastel lippies and pull out my personal favorites, the nudes, tans, Browns, etc. Mac’s whirl lipstick is my fav this season it is the perfect color to go with almost any look or outfit.

#4 For those of you on a budget of for anyone who think it’s a little ridiculous to spend twenty dollars on one lip color (I’m guilty, but I mean I could fill my gas tank for that…) NYX matte lip cremes are one hundred percent the solution! I just discovered these little gems as I was browsing at Ulta the other day and I am thoroughly impressed. I picked up several colors, my favorite right now is Cairo, and it’s a beautiful matte nude. The best part is I think it was only seven or eight dollars!

#5 Just because the weathers cooling off, doesn’t mean we have to lose our glowing tans! For those of you who avoid tanning beds, I’ve discovered the best solution to your ghostly skin. Quick tan by body drench is the best store spray tan I have discovered. It’s a great color, you look like you just got back from the islands after you use it. You don’t look like an orange which is an issue with most self-tanners, and you don’t get that nasty splotchy mess on your skin over time which is the most unsightly thing you could ever let yourself walk around with. So if the tanning bed isn’t for you and you want to look like an island princess rather than Casper the friendly ghost you need quick tan! And as an added plus, it doesn’t seem to smell as bad as a lot of self-tanners I have found.
